MAKE-A-WISH® SIGNATURE EVENTS are special events organized and executed internally by the Foundation. These annual events help us raise funds to make the wishes we grant possible. Over the course of a year, thousands of people share the power of a wish® simply by attending one of our signature events.

Special events for the current year include:

 

Morgan Memorial Golf Outing - June 9, 2008
Join us for a day of golf, games, dinner and auctions at the Morgan Memorial Golf Outing. The fun will start with lunch at 11:00 a.m. and an 11:45 a.m. shotgun start. After hitting the links, Join us for cocktails, silent and live auctions, dinner and a wish child as the featured speaker. Gourmet Wishes by the Bay – June 18, 2008 in Green Bay – enjoy gourmet appetizers, treats and wine at Patrick’s on the Bay. Click here or contact the field office at 920.993.9994 for more information or to purchase tickets.

 

 

Bob Uecker Great Lakes Invitational - June 19-21, 2008
Fish for a wish by participating in the Bob Uecker Great LakesInvitational. During the Pro-Celebrity event, your foursome will enjoy breakfast, lunch and amorning of fishing on Lake Michigan with a local sports celebrity for $1,500. Past celebrities include - Brewers’ television announcer Bill Schroeder, WTMJ’s Bill Michaels, FOX 6’s Tom Pipines, Green Bay Packer Mark Tauscher, Milwaukee Brewers coach Robin Yount and Brewers players. Or you can cast your line at winning a portion of the more than $35,000 purse for the two-day tournament on June 20 and 21. Contestants will receive a boat slip, food and drink, fun and fishing for a $600 entry fee per boat, $100 of which goes to the Foundation. Golf for Wishes - June 26, 2008
Enjoy the splendor of High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood and a fun day of golfing to benefit the Foundation. This 12th anniversary year promises to be a memorable event with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., lunch on the turn, reception after golf & dinner at 5:15 p.m.
