  • Make-A-Wish Wisconsin grants the wishes of children, ages 2½ to 18 who are living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
  • Founded in 1984, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin has granted more than 5,600 wishes since opening its doors.
  • This year, the chapter will grant more than 365 wishes - at least a wish a day.
  • More than 600 volunteers across Wisconsin help Make-A-Wish Wisconsin fulfill its mission.
  • 81.8 percent of all funds raised by Make-A-Wish Wisconsin go directly to granting wishes.
  • The average cost of a wish is $6,500 plus an additional $3,600 in in-kind products and services.
  • More than 500 Wisconsin children will be diagnosed this year alone with a life-threatening medical condition.
