Even when three-year-old Haylee's leukemia kept her stuck in the hospital, the happy Wausau child passed the time and brightened everybody's spirits by play cooking. Her parents knew that what Haylee would love the most would be to have a playhouse, where she and her sister could play cook to their hearts content. But when the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin granted the playhouse wish, even the imaginative Haylee couldn't have dreamt of what she would actually receive. That's because the wonderful people at Wausau Homes fully embraced the wish, building Haylee an amazing kid-sized house complete with front porch and swing, carpeted loft and heated floors. The playhouse was so well-built, it can be used year-round, even in the coldest of Wisconsin winters! "It's been a joy to work and do this for them," said Kristy Moore, a sales engineer Wausau Homes. "Everybody has enjoyed the whole project." Haylee's wish was made possible thanks to Wausau Homes and the Don Passehl Golf Memorial, as well as the dedication of wish granters Trent & Linda Zellmer.
