Wishes are limited only by the child’s imagination and good sense.

One hundred percent of the children who qualify medically for our program, according to medical criteria used internationally and to the opinions of their doctors, receive wishes. There has never been a waiting list. Due to the hard work and generosity of many, funds have always been available to fulfill the wishes of all children who medically qualify in Wisconsin.

FUNDING Donations from businesses, individuals, corporations, charitable trusts, foundations and fundraisers enable Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant wishes.

• 81+% goes directly to granting wishes
• 12.3% goes to fundraising
• 6.3% goes to administrative costs

COST The average cost of a wish is $8,000. In-kind donations typically lower the actual out-of-pocket cost to the Foundation for each wish.
